No fine print, simple as that

What it is and what it isn't

It is a fully regulated initiative, governed by Law 14,300/2022 (Brazil's Distributed Generation Legal Framework) and overseen by ANEEL. It is not a government benefit and does not replace the Social Tariff (Brazil's low-income energy discount).

It is not an energy purchase. You receive credits from the consortium's plant.

No construction or installation. Nothing changes at your home or business.

You remain a customer of the utility company, which keeps delivering energy to you.

You keep paying your electricity bill, but you pay much less.

With your authorization, we use the login and password for your utility company's website to access your electricity bill, calculate your savings correctly and check for billing errors. Your data is protected, in line with our privacy policy and Brazil's data protection law (LGPD).

Two bills

Today you receive Desperta's bill, for the consortium credits, and the utility company's bill, with the minimum grid fee, street lighting fee and taxes. We are working to combine everything into a single bill.

Cancellation

You can cancel with 120 days' notice. All exit conditions are explained in the proposal and in the membership agreement, before you sign up.

The first credit appears within 90 days of signing up.
